Trommetter tied for sixth at the prestigious 2023 Junior Orange Bowl International Championship with rounds of 70, 68, 72, 72. He tied for fourth at the AJGA Mizuno/Greyson Sigg Junior Championship with rounds of 69, 71, 69. Trommetter also tied for ninth at 2022 Sunshine State Amateur firing 72, 73, 73 and tied for 13th at prestigious 2022 IMG Academy Jr. World Championship with rounds of 70, 74, 73, 73. He qualified for the 2022 PGA Junior Boys Championship and finished tied for 54th with rounds of 73, 76, 78 and as a junior against the best amateurs in the world, he represented Morocco in the 2022 World Amateur Team Championship firing rounds of 75, 78, 76, 72. Hugo also has played in numerous professional events including DP World Tour's Ras al Khaimah Championship shooting 70-75. Hugo won the Tournoi Regional Bahia shooting rounds of 71-69-68. As well as the FT - RTTT Championships shooting 71-74-70.
